I hope this finds everyone in good health and hopefully, enjoying green tea.

This year is proving to be a pivotal year for us as we continue to grow as a global tea company. On April 29, 2024, we announced a partnership with MLB All Star, Shohei Ohtani, as a Global Brand Ambassador for our #1 selling green tea brand, “Oi Ocha”. Created in 1989 in Japan, it was the world’s first unsweetened green tea in a bottle. When we learned that Shohei Ohtani had been a longtime fan of Oi Ocha from his time in Japan to being a devoted fan in his life in the U.S., we realized his authentic love for “Oi Ocha” would help us to reach out on a more global level. We are very excited about this collaboration and the future growth of Oi Ocha.

Most recently, George Takei, the legendary Star Trek actor and author, also  shared that he drinks our green tea bags daily to help “Live Long and Prosper”. We were thrilled to have such a notable fan speaking about the health benefits & antioxidants of green tea, which has been such an inherent and revered tea culture in Japan.

With research showing the positive impacts on our health through diet and green tea ranking as one of 10 Super Foods, no doubt we will see more consumers seeking green teas. We, of course, hope it will be ITO EN as we are proud of our legacy and expertise.

Thank you for your support and confidence in what we do. Our long-term commitment to sustainability will always be an important initiative, encompassed through our redevelopment and cultivation of tea farming with local farmers, communities and other ESG initiatives.
